Grandson Of Steelers Founder Art Rooney, Dies At 51

Matthew Rooney has died at 51, per the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. The cause of death has not been revealed yet. He died August 15 at his East Hampton home. The son of John Rooney, who once owned 16 percent of the team before selling in 2009, Matthew held no current role with the franchise. Matthew was the cousin of the current Steelers owner, Art Rooney II.
