Haas Admits Simulator Delay Hampers 2026 F1 Prep Despite Toyota Deal

Haas boss Ayao Komatsu revealed the team is “behind” as its Toyota-backed simulator won’t be ready until mid-2025. For now, Haas relies on Ferrari’s sim, limiting access and cost efficiency. “This PU is a huge challenge… the simulator plays a much bigger role,” Komatsu said. He warned the delay is “definitely a disadvantage” for adapting to 2026’s new regulations.
