Houston Texans Sign Wade Woodaz to Four-Year Rookie Contract
The Texans signed fourth-round linebacker Woodaz to a four-year, $5.482 million rookie contract that includes a $1.102 million signing bonus. “Fast, physical and violent,” Woodaz said of his playing style. Houston traded back six spots before drafting the former Clemson defender, who recorded 217 career tackles, 28.5 tackles for loss, nine sacks, three interceptions and four forced fumbles.
