Jam Miller exited the Iron Bowl after a fourth-quarter injury, hobbling to the Alabama locker room on crutches. Before leaving, Miller led the Tide with 83 yards on 15 carries. With the game tied 20–20, Chris Fowler noted Alabama would “have to go the rest of the way” without him. Miller’s absence didn't affect Alabama's run as they eventually won 27-20.
