Kendrick Raphael’s Controversial Touchdown Helps Cal Stun SMU 38–35

After collapsing from a 31–14 fourth-quarter lead, Cal surged back when Kendrick Raphael punched in a two-yard touchdown that replay upheld, giving the Golden Bears a 38–35 edge over No. 21 SMU. Sam Keltner then missed a 52-yard game-tying attempt with eight seconds left, sealing Cal’s upset and sending Duke to the ACC Championship Game.
