Jets Sign First-Round Pick Omar Cooper
The Jets have agreed to terms with first-round wide receiver Omar Cooper on a four-year rookie contract, according to ESPN’s Rich Cimini. New York traded second- and fifth-round picks to move up to No. 30 overall and select Cooper after his breakout season at Indiana, where he posted 69 catches, 937 yards and 13 touchdowns. Fourth-round defensive lineman Darrell Jackson remains the lone unsigned Jets draft pick.
