Jewell Loyd Finalizing Three-Year Deal to Stay With Las Vegas Aces

Six-time All-Star Jewell Loyd is finalizing a three-year deal with the Aces, keeping one of Las Vegas’ biggest additions in place after arriving from Seattle in last year’s blockbuster three-team trade. The move preserves the Aces’ star backcourt and long-term title hopes as they continue building around A’ja Wilson. Loyd was a key piece in Aces' 2025 WNBA Championship run.

Just days after suffering a rib contusion vs. 76ers, Wembanyama has secured All-NBA eligibility with his appearance vs. Mavericks. Wemby satisfied the minimum 20-minute requirement, reaching that number by the third quarter. In 20 minutes of play, Wembanyama absolutely dominated, dropping 30 points, 10 rebounds and 1 block. He's the favorite for DPOY and will earn MVP votes as well.

Sarah Strong Wins Wooden Award, Sweeps All NPOY Awards

Sarah Strong is the undisputed best player in women's basketball this year. After winning AP Player of the Year and Naismith College Player of the Year, she has now taken home the Wooden Award, sweeping all NPOY awards.
