Kevin Durant Passes Dirk Nowitzki In Regular Season Points For 6th All-Time
Despite going 5-18 from the field tonight against the Pelicans, Durant managed to score 18 points, bringing his regular season point total to 31,652. Dirk had 31,650. He needed 17 to pass Nowitzki and that 17th point came at the free throw line. "Dirk is somebody I looked up to," said KD after the 119-110 win.

Redick fondly remembered Kobe as an insane basketball player that "we all worship." He continued, "We went into that game 17-0, number 1 in the country and got our butts kicked." At 41 years old, LeBron is still going for his patented chasedown blocks. With Ochai Agbaji driving to the rim, James rose and blocked his layup attempt against the backboard. Even in year 23, LeBron is staying on top of his defense, making highlight plays. One fan on X disagreed with Agbaji going for the layup, "Shoulda dunked it."
