Justin Gaethje Hands Paddy Pimblett His First UFC Loss to Capture Interim Title
Gaethje won the interim lightweight title with a unanimous decision over Pimblett (48-46, 49-47, 49-47). He scored multiple knockdowns, including a Round 1 uppercut and a Round 2 barrage that earned a 10-8. Pimblett rallied with jabs, kicks, and late pressure, but Gaethje’s cleaner power shots, clinch control, and sustained damage work banked the championship rounds.
