Former Indiana QB Fernando Mendoza captured the 2026 ESPY for Best College Athlete in Men’s Sports after a record-breaking season. The Raiders’ No. 1 overall pick threw for 3,535 yards and a nation-best 41 TDs while completing 73% of his passes. Mendoza also led the Hoosiers to a 16-0 record, the Heisman Trophy, and their first CFP national title.
