Sarah Strong Named The 2026 Naismith Player Of The Year
Strong was up for Naismith Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the year, the latter of which went to Hannah Hidalgo. Sarah is the 8th Husky to win the award. After thanking God, her parents, and her coaches, she thanked her teammates saying, "This award is ours to share." UConn faces South Carolina next in the Final Four.
