Keisuke Honda Offers Himself for Japan Job on One-Year Deal

Honda has publicly offered to become Japan’s next national team manager, saying he is ready if the federation wants a short-term option. The former international referenced reports of Hajime Moriyasu receiving a one-year extension and said, “Why not try me for a year?” Honda added Japan could fire him “without any questions asked” if they lose the Asian Cup.
