Kendrick Perkins Blames Gregg Popovich for Starting the Load Management Era

"He is one of the greatest coaches to ever coach the game, but he's at fault here," Perkins said of Popovich, linking load management's rise to the NBA's 65-game rule. "He started the whole load management. That's how we got to this point. I don't care if this rule affects the awards. This rule was put in for the fans."
