Blazers Assistant General Managers Sergei Olivia and Mike Schmitz have been suspended for two weeks without pay for violating league policy of "governing contact with draft-ineligible players" as they scouted Yang Hansen in December 2023. The Blazers have also been fined $100,000. Portland did eventually trade for Yang on draft night in 2025 after the Grizzlies selected him 16th overall.

Clarke was arrested in Arkansas on Wednesday and booked just after 1 pm by the Cross Country Sheriff's Department, according to Matt Infield. He was arrested for reckless driving and possession of an unidentified substance and is currently in CID Hold. Ruled out for 2025-26 after a grade 2 calf strain, Clarke is in hot water with the law.
