Durant praised the WNBA’s return to Houston, calling the Comets “an historic franchise” and “an historic brand” that “kickstarted the WNBA.” He also acknowledged the loss for Connecticut fans, saying they “supported their team through and through,” before adding, “they got UConn as well.” Houston’s revival also lets the city honor the franchise’s early legends again.

Grizzlies’ Brandon Clarke Arrested in Arkansas

Clarke was arrested in Arkansas on Wednesday and booked just after 1 pm by the Cross Country Sheriff's Department, according to Matt Infield. He was arrested for reckless driving and possession of an unidentified substance and is currently in CID Hold. Ruled out for 2025-26 after a grade 2 calf strain, Clarke is in hot water with the law.
