There is "widely speculated" interest in a LeBron return to the Cavaliers via sign-and-trade this summer, per Barry Jackson. Dave McMenamin reported Cleveland would gladly welcome him back for a third stint. "Multiple team and league sources told ESPN the Cavaliers would gladly welcome James back," McMenamin wrote in January. LeBron becomes a free agent in 2027.
