Los Angeles Dodgers Keep Coming Up Empty as Zac Gallen Stays in Control
The Dodgers wasted another chance in the fourth, still trailing Arizona after Max Muncy’s walk went nowhere. Mookie Betts grounded out, Freddie Freeman drove one deep to left-center but Jordan Lawler tracked it down near the warning track, and Will Smith flew out to center. Gallen needed only 51 pitches through four, keeping Los Angeles stuck without a run.

Andy Pages Flips Dodgers-Diamondbacks Game With Three-Run Shot
After Arizona grabbed a 2-0 lead, the Dodgers answered fast in the fifth. Max Muncy opened with a single, Teoscar Hernandez hustled out an infield hit, and Pages crushed a 1-2 knuckle-curve from Zac Gallen into the left-center seats. The three-run homer turned the game around instantly, giving Los Angeles its first lead at 3-2 in Chavez Ravine.

Geraldo Perdomo Breaks Through as Diamondbacks Finally Crack Yoshinobu Yamamoto
Arizona struck first in the fourth when Corbin Carroll singled and Perdomo drove Yamamoto deep to right for a two-run homer. The blast gave the Diamondbacks a 2-0 lead after three scoreless innings on both sides. Yamamoto limited further damage by striking out Gabriel Moreno and Nolan Arenado before retiring Carlos Santana on a fly ball.
