After getting a stop on the defensive end, the Timberwolves went on a fast break, with McDaniels bouncing the ball to himself and completing an emphatic dunk. The Timberwolves eventually won the game 124-121.

However, it wasn't enough to beat a Magic team led by Paolo Banchero, who scored 36 points in the win.
