LeBron James Misses Game-Winning Buzzer Beater as Lakers Fall to Magic
With 3 seconds left in the game, LeBron received the pass from Doncic and attempted a turnaround buzzer beater 3-pointer. Unfortunately, the shot was off-target, with the Lakers suffering a heart-breaking 110-109 loss. Doncic and LeBron combined for 43 points. However, it wasn't enough to beat a Magic team led by Paolo Banchero, who scored 36 points in the win.

Brian Windhorst: Lakers Better Without LeBron James
Windhorst said the Lakers struggle when Luka, LeBron, and Austin Reaves play together: "When it's just Reaves and Luka the Lakers are an excellent team. When all 3 play, they're not." He noted a stark statistical difference: "If you look at 100 possessions, when it's just Luka and Reaves vs all 3, it's a 20 point spread."

Paul Pierce Says Brown, Brunson, and Cade Matter More to Their Team Than Jokic or SGA
Pierce argued MVP should weigh team drop-off, not just numbers. “How valuable are you to your team… If you take Jaylen Brown off the Celtics right now, you think they’re gonna be a 500 team? No.” He said Denver and OKC have “played well without” Jokic and SGA, then put Brown and Cunningham atop his MVP list.

Stephen A. Smith: Lakers “Horrible Defensively,” So Luka-LeBron-AR “Don’t Scare Anybody”
Smith said LA’s offense can’t cover for its stops, arguing they don’t scare anybody. He said opponents attack because they “know they can score on you,” and compared it to MJ and Kobe: elite scorers who could also “put you under lock and key.” Smith added defensive “liabilities” mean LA “ain’t beating” OKC, Denver, or San Antonio.
