SGA trucked over Brunson in the first quarter and instead of getting called for his 3rd personal, Brunson was called for a blocking foul. Brown was livid and got T'd up. "SGA, he's a tough cover. A brawl between South Alabama and Coastal Carolina in the women's Sun Belt Tournament left eight players ejected and knocked referee Marla Gearhar to the floor, requiring medical attention. Coastal Carolina's Tracey Hueston, who appeared to hit Gearhar in the head or neck area, was suspended for the rest of the 2026 postseason. Gearhar was evaluated and released.
