Mike Trout Activated From IL After Mid-June Hamstring Strain

The three-time MVP was officially activated from the 10-day IL on Wednesday. Trout had been out since mid-June after suffering a right hamstring strain while running to first base. In the first half of the season, he led the AL with 54 runs scored, hitting .234 with 17 homers, 36 RBIs and .866 OPS in 74 games played.
