MLB Caps Pitch-Level Bets at $200, Bans Parlays After Guardians Scandal

“Effective immediately, MLB Authorized Gaming Operators will cap wagers on pitch-level markets at $200 and exclude those bets from parlays,” the league said, citing “integrity risks.” Partners cover “more than 98% of the U.S. betting market.” The guardrails target micro-bets like pitch velocity at the center of the Guardians case, reducing payouts and incentives for misconduct.
