MLB Propose $1M Minimum Salary in Latest Labor Counter

MLB’s latest labor offer would raise the minimum salary from $780,000 to $1 million in 2027, below the players’ May push for $1.5 million. AP reported the bump applies to players with at least two years of service, while ESPN noted zero or one-year players could reach $1 million through a $900,000 salary plus $100,000 bonus as bargaining intensifies.
