NBA East/West Standings Update (March 18th)
Rockets fall to 5th after losing to 3rd and are now 1.5 GB from 3rd. Warriors fall to 10th, Celtics stay the 2nd seed. Blazers are 9th now. Thunder/Nets, Bulls/Raptors, and Pelicans/Clippers remain the same. Timberwolves move to 4th from 6th while Nuggets fall to 6th. Hawks win their 11th straight after beating Dallas, tying Miami.

Cade Cunningham’s Injury Could Sink Detroit’s Title Hopes
Smith said Detroit’s ceiling changes completely without its star guard after news of Cunningham’s collapsed lung. “He is the offense. Everything goes through him,” Smith said on First Take. He added the Pistons “don’t have a bona fide, viable secondary scoring option,” warning any championship path disappears if Cunningham isn’t back healthy, even if Detroit survives temporarily.
