NBC Sports President Rick Cordella Thanks WWE as Peacock’s Premium Live Event Era Ends

Clash in Paris closed WWE’s PLE run on Peacock, ending a deal that began in March 2021. Replying to Michael Cole, who praised Peacock for their partnership, Cordella thanked WWE, Nick Khan, HHH, & Stephanie for “taking a chance on Peacock” 5 years ago. While NXT PLEs & Saturday Night’s Main Event will continue, major shows will move to ESPN, starting with Wrestlepalooza on Sept. 20.
