NCAA Denies Ole Miss’ Appeal For Trinidad Chambliss’ Sixth-Year Waiver

“The NCAA athletics eligibility subcommittee denied the waiver, which was for a medical redshirt, and the school has been informed,” CFB insider Pete Thamel reported. A court hearing for a preliminary injunction is scheduled for Feb. 12 in Pittsboro, Mississippi. If granted, it could temporarily block the NCAA’s ruling and allow Chambliss to compete in 2026.
