Nico Hoerner Lands $141M Cubs Extension With Deferrals

Hoerner agreed to a six-year, $141M extension with the Cubs, ESPN’s Jeff Passan reported, with Jon Heyman adding the deal includes deferrals. The contract ranks as the fourth-largest ever for a second baseman and keeps Chicago’s 28-year-old through the 2030s.
