Horiguchi (36-5) outpointed Albazi at UFC Vegas 113 on Feb. 7, winning 30-27, 30-27, 29-28 despite a first-round knockdown, moving to 2-0 since his UFC return and calling for a flyweight title shot. He repeatedly stuffed Albazi’s takedown attempts. Cejudo said, “Kyoji Horiguchi will be UFC champion by the end of 2026.” Dvalishvili added, “he’s going to get flyweight belt congratulations.”

UFC Vegas 113 handed out big checks: Oleksiejczuk and Barriault earned Fight of the Night and $100K each after their main-card war, won by Oleksiejczuk via decision. Performance bonuses went to Wikłacz for a last-second submission of Gafurov and Bautista for his Round 2 choke of Oliveira—$100K apiece. Veretennikov and Jacoby scored $25K knockout bonuses.
