WBC added bling to Barrios-Garcia: the winner gets the first “Main Event” championship chain and pendant. De La Hoya displayed the $40,000 Crown Series piece at a press conference ahead of the WBC welterweight title fight Saturday in Las Vegas. It features 18.9 carats of emeralds and brilliant-cut diamonds. WBC said champs “leave with more than a belt… with history.”
