Rob Pelinka Staying With Lakers, Magic Johnson Has No Official Title
New Lakers president of business operations Lon Rosen told reporters that Pelinka will remain as president of basketball operations, Dave McMenamin reported. While Earvin "Magic" Johnson will be around the franchise, no official title is planned for him with Los Angeles. The ownership change and Magic's return was expected to create problems for Pelinka but that seems unlikely now.
