Sean O’Malley Recalls 2019 Ban Left Him ‘Crying’ in Bed Ahead of UFC 324

“You tested positive for osterine,” O’Malley recalled hearing from Jeff Novitzky, saying his “stomach drops on the floor.” He admitted, “There were nights where I would just cry…it all was just a nightmare,” fearing, “I might never fight again…It can’t end like that.” O’Malley later returned and won UFC gold. Now, after losing the belt and back-to-back defeats, he’s plotting a comeback.
