Senior Bowl 2026: LSU QB Garrett Nussmeier Leads American Team to Thumping Win

The American Team defeated the National Team 17-9 in the 77th Senior Bowl at Hancock Whitney Stadium in Mobile, Alabama, on Saturday. Garrett Nussmeier earned MVP honours, recording a 3-yard rushing touchdown and finishing 5-of-8 passing. Oklahoma’s Jaydn Ott added a 5-yard rushing score for the American team. The National Team's lone touchdown came from Kejon Owens on a late 1-yard run.
