Senior Bowl 2026: LSU QB Garrett Nussmeier Leads American Team to Thumping Win
The American Team defeated the National Team 17-9 in the 77th Senior Bowl at Hancock Whitney Stadium in Mobile, Alabama, on Saturday. “LSU Will Always Be Home to Me”: Senior Bowl MVP Garrett Nussmeir
“It means the world. LSU will always be home to me. Hopefully, I’ll be able to come back home,” Nussmeier said when asked about his five seasons at LSU. Garrett finished 5-of-8 for 57 yards with one touchdown in the American Team’s 17–9 win over the National Team in the Senior Bowl. “I hadn’t played football for three months, so it’s an awesome feeling to be back.”
