Sevilla Striker Rafa Mir Sentenced to Eight and a Half Years in Prison for Sexual Assault

Mir has been sentenced to eight and a half years in prison for sexual assault and bodily harm, per the Valencian High Court of Justice. The conviction can still be appealed. A second defendant, Pablo Jara, received two and a half years. Mir was ordered to pay the victim $74,000 in compensation. Offences occurred in September 2024.
