Stanford has finalized the hiring of Kris Richard as its new DC, a source told CBS Sports. Richard brings extensive NFL experience, having previously served as defensive coordinator for the Seahawks. He has also coached secondaries and coordinated the defensive pass game for the Cowboys, Saints, and Jaguars, adding a strong pro pedigree to Stanford’s defensive staff.
