Smith said Peterson can defend himself, but “your actions speak louder than your words,” noting he’s missed “11 or 12 games” as a freshman for “cramps and the flu,” sometimes telling staff minutes before tip he couldn’t go. Jarrett Allen Gets the The Steal and Slams Home the Statue of Liberty Dunk

Late in the second quarter, Allen stole the ball from Karl-Anthony Towns, swiping it away and going on the fast break. Allen drove into the Knicks' paint and slammed home the thunderous Statue of Liberty dunk. Although Landry Shamet and KAT tried chasing him down on the fast break, Allen was too fast and they couldn't prevent the dunk.

“Come On Now”: Reggie Miller Sounds Off on Missed Foul Against James Harden

Jalen Brunson took a wild swipe at Harden, who was wide open and driving towards the rim. Brunson made a lot of contact with Harden's arm, but referees didn't consider it a foul. Miller admitted that he was initially going to say it wasn't a foul. However, after seeing the replay, he exclaimed, "He got raked. Come on now."

Draymond Green Plays Peacemaker as Quinten Post Expresses Anger at Brandin Podziemski

Late in the third quarter, Post was in the paint, with his back to the basket and pleading for Podziemski to pass him the ball. When Podz didn't pass, Post got angry and the two looked ready to start a fight during a timeout. Green separated Post and Podziesmi and played the peacemaker, allowing cooler heads to prevail.
