Tanner Scott Slams Door as Dodgers Finish Opening Day Win

Scott closed out the Dodgers’ opener with a clean ninth, retiring Corbin Carroll, Geraldo Perdomo and Gabriel Moreno in order to seal an 8-2 win over Arizona. Los Angeles backed Yoshinobu Yamamoto’s strong six-inning start with a late offensive surge, and Scott needed little time to finish it off as the 2026 season opened with a comfortable victory.
