Twins DFA Jose Urena, Call Up Mick Abel for Start

The Twins designated Urena after he allowed six runs in Thursday’s loss, raising his ERA to 4.58. Likely bound for free agency again, Urena has pitched for four teams in 2025. Former Phillies prospect Abel, acquired in the Jhoan Duran trade, gets the call. Abel posted a 1.76 ERA at Triple-A and debuts today vs. the White Sox.
