Tyler Freeman OK After Jacob Misiorowski’s 98.2 MPH Pitch Hit His Helmet

Freeman exited after Misiorowski’s 98.2 mph cutter hit his helmet in Milwaukee’s 7-1 win at Colorado. Manager Warren Schaeffer said he’s “fine,” while Kyle Karros called it “super scary.” Misiorowski said he “lost grip” and was “not aiming for him,” then escaped a bases-loaded sixth. He struck out eight, threw 45 pitches at 101-plus mph and lowered ERA to 1.50.
