Victor Caratini and Twins Agree to Two-Year, $14 Million Deal
Caratini hit .259 last year in his second season with the Houston Astros and set career bests with 12 homers and 46 RBIs. A switch-hitter, Caratini batted .268 versus right-handers and .208 against lefties. The deal is pending physical. With the 40-man roster full, the Twins will need to make a roster move before the signing can be made official.

Kyle Tucker's Deal With the Dodgers A Match Made in Heaven, Says Former Mets GM
Steve Phillips does not blame Tucker "for wanting the most money or going to the team that is the favorite to win the World Series". "He adds length, depth, and balance to the lineup; another all-around player."
