Wings-Fever Becomes ESPN’s Second Most-Watched WNBA Regular-Season Game
Dallas’ win over Indiana on Saturday averaged 2.5 million viewers on ABC, making it ESPN networks’ second most-watched WNBA regular-season game ever, according to Nielsen Big Data + Panel. ESPN said the Opening Weekend doubleheader, including the Aces-Mercury Finals rematch, averaged 1.9 million viewers, also second-best ever. WNBA Countdown averaged 956,000 viewers, up 19% from last year’s season debut.
