WWE Files Hard Hitters Trademark Covering Video Games and Online Gaming Products

WWE filed a May 15 trademark for “WWE Hard Hitters,” covering video games, computer game software, online games and wireless-device games. The filing points to a possible gaming project rather than a wrestling event or TV concept. It follows WWE’s continued expansion across digital entertainment, collectibles and licensed game products beyond its weekly Raw, SmackDown and NXT programming.
