Zhuri Drains Wild Trick Shot Next To Father LeBron James During Lakers-Warriors Warmups

Zhuri is on the court tonight ahead of Lakers-Warriors at Chase Center warming up alongside her father, LeBron. In a moment of 'messing around', she turned her head to the basket, granny-shot chucked the ball over her head, and drained the shot. Incredibly impressive as her volleyball acumen certainly came in handy with a shot that requires such depth perception.

LeBron James Calls Daughter Zhuri "Good Luck" Post Win Over GSW

Zhuri came to tonight's Lakers-Warriors game at Chase Center which ended with LAL winning 129-101. Post-game, James said, "She's good luck so far. She 1-0." This combined with her brilliant trick shot during warmups may actually lead to her coming to more Lakers games int he future. As for LA, they're now 35-24 and still out of the play-in.

Luka got birthday wishes from Draymond Green tonight along with his Lakers teammates giving him a cake and singing 'Happy Birthday' to him. Post-game however, Doncic said, "Nobody gave me a gift yet, it's crazy." The now 27-year-old did however have a brilliant outing on his birthday tonight. He dropped a calm 26-6-8 in the 129-101 win over the Warriors.

Erik Spoelstra stated that he leaned into the Adebayo-Ware pairing, praising it's impact on their zone defense. "Kel’el did one of his better jobs communicating and protecting that inner circle," Spoelstra said. He added that Ware did a good job contesting tricky floaters and high percentage shots. Spoelstra said Ware's rebounding was key as well, with Adebayo providing dynamic defense.

Midway through the Lakers' dominant 129-101 win vs. Warriors, Barkley apologized for calling them tankers after their Suns loss. "Y'all are contenders. Y'all are whooping the hell out of them contenders," Barkley said. He jokingly added that the Lakers made the Warriors look like a G-League team. He then once again pronounced the Lakers "serious contenders" for the championship.

LeBron James Confesses That Being a Girl Dad Has “Softened” Him

LeBron admitted that after having two boys, becoming a girl dad to Zhuri has softened him up over the last 11 years. "It's special to have her. It's a different type of love," LeBron said. He added that he's tough on his boys and yells at them, but is soft with his daughter, who was present for the Lakers-Warriors game.
