Analysts Explain Why C.J. Stroud's Job Was So Difficult in Houston

Insider Robert Mays says the Texans' offense put too much on C.J. Stroud last season. Derrik Klassen also noted Houston “could not run the ball very much” and generated just 2.5% of Stroud's passing yards on screens. Mays added the Texans ranked last in throws behind the line of scrimmage while rarely attacking deep, allowing defenses to crowd the middle of the field.
