Bruce Meyer Admits MLB Sides Are Very Far Apart
“No question we’re very far apart,” Meyer said, per Bob Nightengale. The union chief delivered the blunt assessment as MLB and the MLBPA continue early negotiations on a new collective bargaining agreement. Owners have proposed a $245 million salary cap and sweeping draft changes. The current deal expires on December 1, with a lockout very possible.
