College Football Transfer Portal Window Could Shrink

NCAA Division I FBS Oversight Committee has proposed shortening the winter transfer portal window from 15 days to 10, beginning on the first day after Jan 1. The proposal introduces NFL-style offseason practices, allowing 21 on-field sessions across two practice periods. The changes include a reduced preseason practice schedule which would take effect ahead of the 2027 season.
