Ex-Dodgers Pitcher Scott Erickson Found Liable in Fatal Crash
A jury awarded Mark and Jacob Iskander’s family $176M after finding Rebecca Grossman and Erickson liable in the 2020 Westlake Village crash that killed the brothers, ages 11 and 8. The Los Angeles Times reported jurors found Erickson negligent and said the two “acted in concert.” Grossman’s 2024 double-murder convictions were upheld in March after prosecutors cited 81 mph driving.

Sánchez’s historic streak ended in the seventh when Merrill singled home France, tying Phillies-Padres at 1-1. The left-hander went 50 2/3 innings without allowing a run, the fifth-longest mark in MLB history behind Hershiser, Drysdale, Johnson and Coombs. His run began April 30 and already broke Grover Cleveland Alexander’s 115-year-old Phillies record before Wednesday’s game against San Diego.
