John Harbaugh’s Contract Talks Challenge the Giants’ Traditional Chain of Command
As Giants–John Harbaugh negotiations continue, one key complication has emerged. In Baltimore, Harbaugh reported directly to owner Steve Bisciotti — not the general manager, Joe Schoen. That structure hasn’t historically existed with the Giants. Per reports, Harbaugh has also sought significant organizational control, including input on, or the ability to select, the GM he works with, helping explain why talks haven’t been straightforward.
