Karl-Anthony Towns Extension Looms Over Knicks’ Core
Windhorst called Towns’ future “the biggest question” of the Knicks offseason, saying he has “earned” a max-level extension approaching $70 million annually. But if Towns and extension-eligible Josh Hart take “a little bit of a haircut,” he said New York could keep its title core together for “three, four, five years” instead of facing difficult roster choices.
