Mendez added, “I don’t think past 35 he’s going to want to continue,” but stressed there’s “no reason to stop him” while he’s still “hungry” and “looking fantastic.” Now a two-division champ (28-1), Makhachev is targeting a first 170-pound defense against Kamaru Usman.
