Tyronn Lue Criticizes Today’s NBA's “No Contact” Practice Culture

Lue contrasted his era with today’s NBA. “When I got to the league, you play a game. The next day, you’ve got an hour and a half, two-hour practice taped. You’re live contact, body on body.” Now, he said, “Practice is a walk-through… no contact… 30-40 minutes,” arguing that players once trained their bodies to avoid injuries.
